I have always struggled picking out presents for my mom. Every single year… without fail. I’ll try to think of an amazing idea until my brain feels like it’s going to explode, admit defeat, and call and ask her what she wants. Now, if you’re like me… the only think I hate more than admitting defeat is ruining a good surprise (although I’m really good at ruining them). Where’s the fun in that?! It always just feels like I never put any thought into it if she tells me exactly what to get her.

It’s so crazy how something so small can mean so much. How a picture can freeze a memory in a frame, so that it can be jumped into and remembered whenever it’s viewed.
